I was looking into replacing windows but the telephone cable entered the flat through a hole in the window frame so needed to be moved to a hole in the wall. Richard discussed a couple possible solutions and we decided on one. The work took less than an hour to complete and the master socket is now at a far better location. I wish I’d thought of moving it years ago. I thoroughly recommend Richard.

Arrived exactly on time. Moved an unsightly looking Telephone Master Socket from an eye-level window ledge to just above the skirting board. Removed all the ugly wires and clips in the hose, and hid them outside, concealed by a down pipe on the house. A new modern slim-profile Master Socket installed. Both my wife are very happy with the outcome, our entrance hallway now looks uncluttered without all the cables trailing down the wall. The engineer cleared up any mess made, leaving the job nice and tidy. He tested the telephone line and the broadband worked before he left. 100% satisfied and happy customers.

One very happy customer, before his arrival Richard did a covid risk assessment, and wore a mask for the duration of his visit.
He was informative, professional and helpful in ascertaining the best location for new sockets, the access point for the internet cables were under the floor but this did not stop him from getting the job done. He was tidy and did not waste time.

Just wanted to say thank you to Richard for doing such a great job. My elderly father had a completely new phone system installed by Virgin, which is all digital now, rendering all his old BT phone sockets around the house, obsolete. After 3 hours solid aggro from the BT help line and almost in tears, I found Richard who came over to my place and fixed my TV in a couple of minutes (even though he deals mainly with phones) and can't praise him enough for solving the problem and getting my tv box working again! Highly recommended

I am not a big fan of leaving feedback and comments on webpages or ebay / Amazon but I had to make an exception for Richard. His service is UNBELIEVABLE. He is reliable, trustworthy and attends to the issue quickly. Builders working on my house accidentally cut my phone line and WIFI off - which is devastating when you have 2 young children and a wife who works from home. I left a message at about 7pm on a Monday evening and by Tuesday at 11am the problem was fully resolved. All for the bargain price of £79. Sky had offered to arrange an engineer who would be with me within 5 working days but honestly in this day and age who can be without WIFI for 5 days. 5 minutes is bad enough with a teenage daughter. Highly recommended to anyone who needs help and support with telephony or Broadband connection issues. Thank you Richard.

Richard is a very professional, helpful and polite individual. I phoned in the morning and he offered to come round that same evening on a Sunday. He explained the time it would take to activate my phone sockets and the cost right upfront. He even mentioned that he was happy for me to shop around if I wasn't happy with the cost. Dear Richard.Just to let you know that BT has agreed to refund the money paid to you in our next bill. They initially said 'No' but eventually agreed. I wouldn't have pushed them so hard if you hadn't told me others had succeeded, so thank you! They made it clear that they are responsible for any problem beyond the test box, as you said, even if it is in the house. They will also send out a 'priority fault finding' form to take to the GP. They are not planning to change the system so unfortunately other people may get into difficulties like we did. However I intend to copy the form and make sure relevant agencies know about it so at least vulnerable people can be better advised. Once again, thank you for your help and care. I booked Richard to install a phone extension for my elderly and somewhat anxious aunt who lives alone. He carried out the work quickly and efficiently and even managed to carry on a conversation with my aunt which did a lot to keep her calm. He also diagnosed a line fault, called BT and arranged a visit from them within three days - this is something my aunt would not had the courage to do in this world of automated answering systems. Richard's work was of a very high standard but equally importantly, his manner with my aunt was exemplary - friendly and reassuring but always keeping her informed of what he was doing. Great service, prompt, explained the problem with the phone and what the faults, which Mr Hyams fixed,now able to make and receive calls and no crackling on the line, highly recommend

Richard fixed something that BT couldn’t even fix. Next time I have a problem with the phone, I won’t hesitate; he’ll be the first person I’ll call. Very reasonable rates too. Terry Hodgkinson

Richard came out to fix our telephone line at 7.00pm, after a storm had knocked the line out. Would recommend him as he was very prompt and very professional.

Richard responded very promptly to my initial email, came next day and fixed the problem on our telephone in-house connection very quickly and efficiently. His charges are very competitive and much cheaper than a BT engineer. Will definitely use his service again if situation arises and am pleased to highly recommend him.

Richard's service is excellent. He has just completed the transfer of our communications systems from one office location to another and all of this on a Bank Holiday so the team could return to work after the long weekend. Fantastic service... He even sorted a few things out which were not part of the agreement. Thanks so much Richard.
